Did you try unplugging and replugging the set to reset? Checking remote battery? Actuating each remote function (button by button) twice in succession to reprogram? Also, could you have inadvertently de-programmed by pushing the PROG or similar button? Mfrs not uncommonly but that button in the wrong place where users, especially button mashers, are apt to push them trying to turn of the set. The suggestions above might reprogram. Other wise contact customer service for the TV and let them guide you.

HOW CAN I SET UP THE REMOTE WITH TV ITS A UNIVERSAL REMOTE PHILLIPS 3040

Press the set button simultaneously with TV or TV 1 button or which ever button that represents your tv, release all pressed buttons, press the set button again alone. press the power button as many times as possible until your TV swiches off. Once it turns off don't pres the power button anymore coz you might have to restart the process from the beginning.

Now press the (TV) botton you pressed with the set button. Thats all you need.

Panasonic DMR-ES10 DVD Recorder

You can, indeed! It is probably made by Thompson, so try codes 10, 15 or 44: while pressing the power button on the remote, enter the appropriate code. Test to see if it works by trying to change channels with the remote. If no joy, try another code. If no joy with any code, come back to me and we can try to identify your TV model and take it from there.

Good luck!

Cant turn off panasonic PIP

To turn off the "stuck" pip on a Panasonic tv without a remote, turn off the tv. Then hold down the "Action" button on the front of the tv and press the power button. This will activate a reset and self check of the systems and voila! The pesky pip screen will be gone! This is on an approximately 10 year old regular crt "CT-xxxxx" series tv.
