Cracked screen on a Sanyo 42 inch flat screen TV model number dp42d23 can this be fixed or is it worth it.. The screen is not actually cracked How much would it cost to replace screen and where can I find it

If it is less then 1 year old Sanyo may fix it free . other wise get a quote as it may cost the price of a new one.

I have a sanyo 42 inch dp42d23 has sound but no picture. we were told to look on youtube to fix but its not helping. what can be wrong?
Press the MENU button on the remote. If there is no menu wording displaying on the screen, then it's the backlight. Shine a torch onto the screen panel and see if you can see a picture (yes, TV has to be on and tuned in). If you see a picture, then it'll either be the backlighting or the backlighting power supply.

That's a good idea. Screen replacements are not easy to match with any TV. But boards are usually compatible with most TV's of the identical make. You should check that an identical board has the exact same version number too to be compatible.

I have a sanyo 42" tv model DP42D23 and a Funai dvd/vcr combo model ZV427FX4 ZV427FX4 A. I cant find how to run audio video from tv to the dvd/vcr to record tv shows. Please help!

From what the Sanyo manual shows, there are no Video outputs, only a digital audio output.

42' Sanyo Flat Screen Tv
An lcd screen cannot be repaired, only replaced and for a cost around what the went for when new. You can try looking on ebay or craigslist for the same model and swap parts. Had it happen to me, it sucks. Also your home owners insurance should cover it. Sorry thats all the help I can be.

True GDM-12EM-LD Lights not coming on and display not showing USE was running just fine, now the fluorescent light won't turn on and the display board just has 3 dashes across it. If I hit one of the setting button on the display some red lights will blink and fridge light turns on, but then it just goes back to the three dashes and the light turns back off.
