Try Permatex Silicone. I got some of the gel in a tube at a motorcycle shop. You can get spray can also. You can possibly pick it up at any automotive parts store

Pride backpacker plus lift breaks chain drive sprocket

That's Pride through and through - wretched, irrisponsible, greedy people.

I fear that you are stuck with insisting that the installer sort it out on pain of serious complaint through your Social Services, small claims court or both. You will not be outside the legal time limit for the period during which they are obliged to hold and supply appropriate parts. Good luck and give Pride hell, they really do deserve it. If you get annoyed with them on the Pride users blog they "withdraw your privileges". Unplug you and do not reply to emails - it happens all the time. Pride wants your money, not to be bothered by giving good service or loyalty.

Lift is out of vehicle and won't go up or down

Sounds like the jack screw has bound. That requires a complete disassembly and inspection to see if it just needs lubrication or a part.

My solo backpack sprayer won't pump up when I use the handle. What's wrong and how to repair it?

chabunga offered really good info...except for the suggestion to use Vaseline on the 'O' ring. NEVER use Vaseline on anything rubber, because it is a petroleum based product and it will cause the ring to deteriorate. Use a non-petroleum based lubricant instead.

Yes the lift supports that hold up the hatch are more than likely worn.

Need to know gas mixture

Yours is not a current model and I did not find a manual. The following is an excerpt from a 26cc MightyLite Blower/Vac UT08550/UT08951 "Operator's Manual":
This product is powered by a 2-cycle engine and requires pre-mixing gasoline and 2-cycle lubricant. Pre-mix unleaded gasoline and 2-cycle engine lubricant in a clean 1 gallon container approved for gasoline.
Recommended fuel: This engine is certified to operate on unleaded gasoline intended for automotive use.
Mix Homelite Premium Exact Mix lubricant with gasoline according to the instructions on the package. If Premium Exact Mix lubricant is not available, use a high quality synthetic 2-cycle engine lubricant, mixed at 2.6 oz. per gallon (US).
Do not use automotive lubricant or 2-cycle outboard lubricant.
NOTE: Premium Exact Mix fuel mix will stay fresh up to 30 days. DO NOT mix quantities larger than usable in a 30 day period.
PREMIUM EXACT MIX (50:1)
GasolineLubricant
1 gallon (US) 2.6 oz.
1 Liter 20 cc (20 ml)

If properly adjusted your blower will operate fine on 50:1 regardles of what the manual reads. HTH
