Flip the wire bail down on the icemaker. It is the on-off switch control for the ice maker. When ice is manually removed the bail is normally pushed up into the off position during removal.

Frigidaire ice maker

Either the ice maker or water valve is bad. Is there ice in the form?
tip

Ice maker stopped working

When the ice bin fills up, it won't let the arm all the way down. The arm must go down for more ice to drop into bin. Sometimes an ice cube or two will get caught under the arm and prevent it from cycling. Continuing to use the ice maker will empty bin but no new ice is made. Clear any ice cubes from under the arm and the cycle will start again. My ice maker takes about twelve hours to fill after it has been emptied but ice from the door is available almost imediately.

Kenmore cold spot 106-9557611The ice bin is frosting up at the shut and the dispenser only wants to dispense crushed ice.

This is caused by air leaking past the seal in the shut door. Push in on the paddle and release and watch the door shut close. It should make an air tight seal. You can also shine a flashlight in the shut and look at the opposite side to look for light.

THE ICE MAKER IS NOT WORKING. I emptied the Ice bin for a party and now the Ice maker will not make new cubes. The water line is fine and I still can get water.

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

Ice-o-matic wont' drain water from bin

the purge valve empties the tray... the bin just drains with gravity... If you bin isn't draining... it must be clogged somewhere.

Ice making problem

There is a metal wire that gets pushed up when the Ice becomes too full and turns off the ice maker. You can pull it back down with you hand and that will unlock it and turn the ice maker back on.
