Hello
I have had a Firelite back up external hard drive for about a year now, and everything has worked fine. Weekly it reminded me to back up my files, and then proceeded to do so autimatically when prompted.
Suddenly, it has stopped doing this, although it appears to go through the motions, on checking the contents of the hard drive, I found that the last time it backed anything up was in August this year.
Could you please tell me what might have happened, and what I can do to put it right.
Many thanks.
Caroline
The first thing that comes to mind is the Firelite has become full and can not accept any more backup data.
Delete the data on the Firelite and try running your backup again. If it works then that was the problem.
The backup software should have a configuration setting somewhere that allows it to automatically delete older data and keep it from filling up.
