Cut, copy, & paste in Vista work the same as in every other version of Windows.

Cut or Copy:

  • First, select the content you want to cut or copy. It can be text, graphics, or even files.
  • Next, select Cut (or copy) from the Edit menu. If you prefer using the keyboard, then use Control-X to cut, or Control-C to copy.
Paste:
  • Click where you want to put the content you just cut/copied
  • Select Paste from the Edit menu, or press Control-V.

This could happen if some of the dll files are corrupted go to the below link download the tool for vista .
when the program opens up .. from the drop down choose email and browser realled issue and click fix

SOURCE: I have windows vista trying to install a learning disk, But every time I try to install it tell's me that windows does not support NT what does that mean? and how can I fix it?

Have you ever installed this on a computer running Vista? If not it may not be compatible with Vista (this was my first thought when I read your issue). Check with the manufacture to see if they offer a Vista compatible version.

How do i get cut copy & paste on windows 7
Hi,

There are standard keyboard options are available for cut, copy and paste operations. These are bydefault enabled in all type of windows based softwares.

Cut - > Ctrl + X
Copy - > Ctrl + C
Paste - > Ctrl + V

Above type of operations are allowed in all type of Windows Versions (95 / 98 / NT / 2000 / 2003 / XP / Vista / 7)

Cut or copy and paste does not work
Hello,

That is very common problem and there is no one-best-sollution for it since they are tons of possible reasons.

Possible sollutions:
#1 close all programs
#2 switch off->switch ON pc
#3 scan for possible malware using antivirus software
#4 try using keyboard shortcuts crtl+c = copy or ctrl-x = cut

How to cut and paste with a Dell
On PCs and virtually all windows programs the process is as follows:
1)Highlight the text to be copied/cut (put cursor at beginning and drag to end of text)
2) Left click to bring up the context menu
3) Select cut or copy (CUT removes the text, COPY leaves the text in place)
4) Place cursor at point where you want to insert text and left click again
5) select paste from the menu

You have a problem with your drivers. That keyboard is too old and I can not find any vista drivers. I can find XP and Windows 2000 drivers. The regular keys should work, but the extra keys that are not standard on all keyboards, like the cut, paste, and volume controls should not work.

If you want a keyboard to have those functions, then you need to buy a newer keyboard that has vista drivers.
