Castle ranges don't require a electrical plug. If converted to LP/propane make sure the water column (WC) is set to 10 inches. If it is less you will have pilot light problems even if the thermocouple is strong. If set at 10 inches, most likely problem is the thermocouple. Correct replacement at Castle is approx. $25. The manual for current ranges should cover most issues but the Castle stopped making the C series ranges in the 80s. All controls and most parts are still available.

If I still had mine I would ship them to you...but hubby burned them...your best bet is to call in a professional on this one...I've heard with my own ears how frustrating it can get. lol

Your 4 screws may hold the swing piece to the slide piece. You actually secure it to the slide side wall with one of the red screw caps but you can also secure it with 4 screws that screw into the plastic.  You can also find the manual and assembly instructions at littletikes.com
