Samsung projection 42 in. floor model, powers on

Samsung projection screen, 42 in. floor model, powers on then red timer light continues to blink and screen remains black. Hear sound for a few seconds then no sound, screen still black. tv will not power off using remote or the power button on tv.

Tv is in shutdown, drawing to much current. usually focus or high voltage divider (sometimes they are one). not usually the power supply.

hello have you checked the glass fuse inside the tv it will be in the power supply beware if replace the and blows again the you have a dead short circuit

Blinking power light after replacing convergance board.

Your chips are most likely bad or you bridged the soldering.

For all others with similar convergence problems

This is a common problem.

Symptoms:

Screen Looks 3D
Colors wont align
Video may look distorted

Problem #2 CRT Fluid has clouded over. Symtoms

Dull looking video
White looking video
Halos around objects
Red/Orange looking video

Where can I find a Samsung repair center?

LG DLP PROJECTION TV (RU-44SZ63D) Tv light is off (with red light on). When I hit the power on button the red tv light starts blinking. Light continues to blink red then stops blinking and goes back to off (red light on).
