K850i not working only button lights flashes and logo is on screen, can i try to update it??

If this was happening and the update was possible (and successful) I'd try opening the phone up and make sure that the screen connector is properly connected, especially if the phone has been dropped or has taken any type of physical shock.

Otherwise, this could possibly be a water damage related issue.

try holding the menu button and the centre button at the same time for a few seconds until the apple logo shows (this shouldnt be flashing), this should unfreeze the ipod, if not, try plugging it into your computer (install itunes first) see if your computer can find it, if it does open the ipod screen in itunes and look for an ipod update, perform the update (if there is one available) this will reset it to factory default with the newer software, if theres no update try to restore ipod.
If these tricks dont work, im afraid its a trip to the apple store, good luck

hi i had same problem,download update service from se e follow the instruction,its free and 100% working for me
make swure that the battery is full charge b4 the up date
if ur phone wen u charge seem to no charge actioly is charging!

go to the sony ericsson service center and get it a software update

the solution my friend is only one!!!you need to update your software!!!this is a common issue in modern mobile phones.take it to sony ericsson BUT they will erase everything in order to reset it!!!

my problem is wen im chargen it the screen is blank but the key pad lights up an the power button is red plz help me fix it

if your button lights flash when u try to open your phone then there is still hope, u have to update your phone with usb- cable from computer.Read instructions and download software from www.sonyericsson.com

hi. first,. SORRY for my bad typing...i know how to fix it, had the same problem earlier this year with the blacklight gone after a bad update, but you can fix it easly yourself without turn it in.

you can goto www.sonyericsson.com and download the update and that SHOULD to the trick..

that is a norwegian link. but if you click on the flink that says " Last ned Nå"  you will download the program that will install the new update, you can instal the program in english, so that  is just peace of cake from there..
