Make sure the DVD is not copyright protected, otherwise you can't make copies of it. Or you can use some DVD ripping software to rip the DVD to computer, and then burn it to another blank DVD. Here is my favorite DVD ripper, you may check it out. Best DVD Ripper Rip Copyright DVD Copy Portected DVD

When I use ML-9600 as a palyer, can not copy from it to another CD recorder via digital IN-OUTs; the other recorder says "UNLOCK" so something must be unlocked in Masterlink but what and hoe?

What are you playing back, and what can the receiving unit cope with?

If you're playing back 24/96, your receiving unit MUST be able to cope with this. If the receiving unit can only cope with 16/44 or 16/48, you're doomed to fail.

I keep getting a waning about length but I am coping from a lp to a lp

The CD may be an "overburned" CD, which is longer than your typical CD's length, which would display the the Overflow warning message.

We can solve this problem by holding down the ESC button for 2 seconds, and then accessing the Advanced Setup menu. Under the Advanced Setup Menu, there is a function called "Overburn", which will enable the copying of overburned CDs.

Hello, my name is Paul. I have a Terratec G3. The recordings I have made from VHS to DVD recently have badly out of sync sound & vision. I have had this problem before and solved it by going into...

Sometimes when you record to a high quality setting using VHS material the system cannot cope. You could try a lower setting. Try the SVHS setting if it has one. You need to have plenty of memory to record video too. Avoid having any other programs running at the same time as you are recording.

Samsung dvdr120 locks up playing any disney pixar dvds. other brand dvds work fine.

I seem to recall lots of people having problems with Disney DVD/Tapes due to Macrovision. It could be to do with that, as your machine is a recorder. So it might be having a job coping with the copy protection system of these DVD's.
If it has never played Disney DVD's you could get in touch with Samsung, explain what I have said and your problem, they might solve your problem for free, if your not under guarantee.

Can i make it region free?

HELLO

Turn on your DVD Player

Press OPEN on remote

Press 1 3 7 9 and the number of the region you want to use between 0 and 6. Use 0 for region free. You may need to press these buttons slowly. You will see XXXX on the TV. When you press the last number, it will display at the top left of the screen.

Now insert a disc (other than your own region) into the player and close it. It should load and play. Other region discs should play as well. If you didn't do it correctly it will display "Wrong Region".

When you turn off the DVD player it will keep the settings.

HOPE THIS HELPS ENJOY (:-)
