IF it is not an adaptor-powered screen, try to exchange the tripol-power cord and try again. Else you may have to rely on warranty/ return it to where you purchased it or ask electronics dealer for support. If adaptor powered, buying a new one should be the last option, else you may end up with a broke monitor and two working adaptors!
