Model no. 26650 Active spring response ASR bought bike at a sale..peddles are crooked..you can't peddle.
SOURCE: I have bought a Disney Princess 12
All small childrens small bikes have a pedal brake for stopping. So, it would not pedal backwards.

Try screwing it on by hand in both directions as one peddle screws in clockwise and the other anti-clockwise. If this still does not work look at the thread on the peddle and see if it looks threaded (damaged). If it does then you need a new peddle or set of peddles and a visit to your local bike shop can confirm this for you.
SOURCE: Peddle just spin while bike riding bike it will not engage
The chain has come off. Refit it onto the cogs then you will have drive back.
Vote for me if this helps, thanks.

check that the back wheel is fitted correctly. is it wobbly becasue it is buckled, or because it is not tight onto the bike.
if the wheel is buckled then it should go to a store to be straitened depends on how bad it is .
if not put bike upside down and undo the back wheel nuts a little, push the back wheel back as far as it will go without over tightening the chain and making sure it is central to the frame tighten the bolts back up. watch to make sure it is not slipping.
then put it into a middle gear and turn the peddles if you hear rattling in the chain or it changes gear use a small screw driver to set the changer to the middle of the got and it should be quieter in gear.
also do this for the front changer and make sure it doens not go to far our as this will pull the chain off.
if not sure take it to a bike store and ask advise they will tell you whant can be done and how much it would cost.
I hope this was useful

Assuming it is still almost new we can rule out worn drivetrain parts. Maybe some derailluer adjustments are in order.

If you had bought it at a real bike shop they would be responsible for making sure it functioned perfectly when you took possession and probably would have tuned it up for free after a reasonable break-in. I wouldn't place much faith in a department store being able to set it up right to start with nor resolve the issue now.
