Hi, I have a V3x which all of a sudden is struggling to find service and drains the battery very quickly and when I try to view a video it hangs and I have to pull out the battery to reset. Also, by far the most annoying part is that when i navigate through the menu I have to be one step ahead of myself cuase the last menu won't come up until I have pressed up or down on the next menu (in otherwords it is extremely slow). I have reset the phone to it's original settings and deleted everything with no difference at all.
Hi, we have the same problem with the same motorola unit.. i've cause a lot of money looking for the solution on this problem & the best thing was i got a solution on it. 1st suggestion is look for a expert technician that will reformat your v3x then ask the tech to check your camera and the ribbon if there is a defect, 2nd, let the tech diagnos your phone to look for the correct problem of your phone.. This thing happen to me already & thanks for the great technician i got & he make my v3x unit as good as new again.. never stick to one technician, always ask the opinion of the another technician, this is the best thing i did..

You can perform a master reset to dissolve any glitches, bugs or other complications you experience with a Motorola Razr V3x. According to the device's user guide, a master reset will reset all options in the phone, with the exception of the "unlock code, security code and lifetime timer." Back up any data, pictures, or contacts you wish to keep before performing a master reset on the Motorola Razr V3x

When the motor is screeching and draining the battery, that indicates that the motor has most likely seized up and is not turning the axle properly, which in turn will drain the batteries quickly as the scooter struggles to move. I strongly recommend discontinuing use of the scooter for your safety until the motor can be replaced; contact the manufacturer for a service call to fully diagnose the problem and give you a quote. If your insurance purchased the scooter for you, they may partially pay for the repair. Good luck!
*#3370# - Enhanced Full Rate Code (EFR) activation. Increase signal
strength, better signal reception. It also help if u want to use GPRS
and the service is not responding or too slow. Phone battery will drain
faster though. *#3370* - (EFR) deactivation. Phone will automatically restart. Increase
battery life by 30% because phone receives less signal from network.
If I'm understanding your question you are losing your battery quickly. Go to the Market and download an app killer. All the apps you run take an amazing amount of battery. The app killer is just a quick pulldown menu thats lets you select which apps you want to turn off all on one convenient menu. The moment I did it I noticed a huge savings on my battery. Another easy fix to help extend battery life is to turn down the brightness level on your screen to the lowest level you can tolerate. Should help out a lot by doing both of those things.
if the display on your screen is only half of it, it means that the theme installed in your fone is not for motorola v3x. with regards to the backlight, the connector from the lcd to the board is loose. if you can only see the white light, it means that your fone is running an application, loading or hanging up like what's happening in pc's.
i think you need to master reset your phone and put only a 256memory card. even though it is said to carry up more, just stick with the 256 memory to avoid those problems.
