Pairing Bluetooth Devices
Posters often ask "How do I pair my Bluetooth ???" Insert whatever device you have at the question marks.

Generally, you need to read the instructions for the camera, headset, speakers or whatever the Bluetooth device is.

Roughly speaking though.

Settings - Bluetooth - Search, on the Android, iPhone, Windows phone whatever.

With camera, speaker, headphones or whatever the Bluetooth device is, you have to press a button on that device to send out the signal. On my Bowers and Wilkins T6 Speakers, there is a button on the top with the Bluetooth symbol on it. This is the part people usually don't do and ask for advice, thinking it will do this automatically.

When the Android or iPhone device recognises it, click Pair, and if it asks for a code, the Default is '0000', (four zeros, no quotes).

You need to start again. Turn off the speaker. On the Phone/Bluetooth click 'Forget This Device' for the speaker. Reboot the phone, and then turn on the speaker. Tell phone to search for Devices. Press the Bluetooth button on the speaker. This will correctly re-establish the pairing.

Try this.
Hold Down Power: Many Bluetooth speakers switch into pairing mode by turning the speaker off, then turning the device on while keeping your finger depressed on the power button. To notify you the speaker is in pairing mode, it will typically emit a sound or its light indicator will begin flashing rapidly.
Hold Down Pairing Button: Some Bluetooth speakers have a dedicated button for placing your device into pairing mode. Seek out a button on your device with the Bluetooth symbol next to it, then hold it until you hear your speaker emit a sound or its light indicator begins flashing rapidly.
your Bluetooth speaker now discoverable, it can be paired to your iPhone or Android phone.
Quick Pairing Instructions

1. Open Settings.
2. Open Wireless and Network.
3. Open Bluetooth® Settings.
4. Turn Bluetooth® on if it is off.
5. Touch Search for Devices.
6. Touch and hold - UGO.
7. Touch Connect.

You did not mention pairing it. Remember that bluetooth speakers need to be paired with your IPhone. Consult your speakers documentation for steps to pair the device to your phone.

1. Press and hold the button to put the speaker in "Pairing/Connecting" mode. You should see a red and blue light flashing in rapid succession somewhere on the speaker.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on the phone and tap on Scan. The phone will start scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices. When you see that it detected a device with a name similar to the speaker's name, tap on the name to pair with the phone. If you are asked for a passcode/passkey, enter '0000' or '1234' (without the quotes). If the two pair, the light on the speaker will turn to a steady blue and you will see 'Connect' on the phone. Tap on Connect and then you will see Connected on the phone. Your phone and the speaker are now connected.

The steps above should be detailed in the set up guide that came with the speaker. There may even be a passkey/code provided in the guide. Use that one for pairing instead of the passkey I suggested above. Please note that pairing is a one-time procedure, required only the first time you are connecting the phone to the speaker, a "get to know you" procedure. After that, you just need to connect the two.

Turn on the bluetooth of your phone first: Go to settings>Wireless and Networks>Enable Bluetooth and disable discovery limit in bluetooth settings. After that make sure the bluetooth in your speaker is on and let your phone search the speaker and let it pair with it after that go into your phone's music player and look for its play options and if you see via bluetooth click it. Where the bluetooth options on your phone will depend on your phone.

So to put the speaker into Bluetooth pairing more slide the power switch to the right hand side. If the speaker has power then a blue light to the right should light up.

Once this is done you will need to find the Bluetooth devices option on your phone. This will be located somewhere under settings - connectivity.
When you locate the device in bluetooth devices, select it then select pair.
