I need a torque settings for my 2.4 16v Nissan engine
From repair manual for 1996 KA24E 2.4L engine:
Number bolts as follows:
Exhaust side, front to rear - 8, 6, 1, 3, 9
Intake side, front to rear - 10, 4, 2, 5, 7
Tighten bolts in numbered sequence, five steps.
Step 1 - 22 ft-lbs
Step 2 - 58 ft-lbs
Step 3 - loosen all bolts completely
Step 4 - 22 ft-lbs
Step 5 - 54-61 ft-lbs

Tighten in sequence to 29ft.lbs then tighten in sequence to 58ft lbs. then loosen all bolts. Then tighten in sequence to 33ft lbs. then tighten each bolt in sequence 90 degrees then tighten each bolt again 90 degrees

Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft) in sequence.

#1 is top right most bolt first, 2nd is farthest to the left on top, #3 is the one down and to the left of # 2, #4 is on top and to the left of #1, #5 is the hardest one to get to and is right in the middle on the bottom, and #6 is only one left which is top middle....
on re-installation you go backwards and torque from 2--22 NM
Since you didn't say which engine you have, I've pulled torque specs for 3 different engines. Also, since I can't include a diagram showing the relative locations of the numbered head-bolt locations, it would be a good idea for you to purchase a vehicle specific repair guide that will show this info.
Take particular note about the TTY (Torque to Yield) bolts used on 2 of the 3 engines shown. It is said that new head bolts MUST BE USED when head is replaced or re-installed to obtain the proper torque.
