If you have locked the SIM card you can ring your mobile phone network carrier and request a PUK code, they will give you a code that will then unlock your phone for use again.
However if it is a phone-lock, there is nothing you can do without doing a hardreset which will allow the phone for use again but will wipe the handset clean. If it is a phonelock, make sure you take out your SIM and memory card as this will save the data that is on those cards.
To perform a hardreset you must press the call button, the cancel call button, the number three button and the star key all at the same time.
The default code is 12345 Be very careful and try it only once though. Trying it incorrectly more than 3 times will render your SIM card locked (if this has not happened already) The puk number is unique and only provided from your telecom provider. So call them using a different phone and be ready to answer questions related to your account. Name, address, last for digit of your social, etc. Cheers!
If you need the SIM Pin number to switch the phone on, then you have to enter any Pin number 4/5 times, then the phone will request a PUK number. This number was on the plastic card that your SIM card was attached to. If you don't have it, only your Network Service Provider can supply it to you.
If it's the Security code you need, to get into certain settings IE. Erasing received calls, missed calls, timers etc... The Nokia default is 12345 if you didn't change it, but if you did change it and you've forgotten it, let me know, I'll tell you how to retrieve it. The IMEI number doesn't have anything to do with the SIM Pin number. It is used to identify, track, and Blacklist your phone.
