if its smaller try to clean the back of your tv..

The random whit dots you are seeing is more than not the DMD or million little mirrors board. The white spots represent some of the mirrors that are sticking in the on position. In that case they are always reflecting white light from the lamp. I don't concider the DMD board a do it yourself repair since on the older DLP set it requires mechanical alignment as well. The best thing to do is contact a techincian and see what they might charge to repair the TV for you. Please take a few moments to rate my answer...Thanks..

If the white dot is on every picture and every input and stays there for a sec. after you press the power button to turn off the tv then suspect a stuck mirror in the DMD.

probably need a new light engine, contact samsung again get to a supervisor and make a lot of noise!

It seems you might have an issue with the dmd board. Go to the menu, and if the dots still show on the menu, the issue definitely is with the dmd board but if they don't come up on the menu, the issue will be with the video board.

HI, these are the signs of a failing light engine. you will need to replace this engine soon. these distortions will worsen over time.

They will send the New DLP Chip at no charge to a TV Tech in your area to install it for $200 flat rate. That is about a $250 savings if you had to pay for the chip . Call them with your TV's Model number and serial number and let them know when and where you bought the TV.
