Feed dog won't come up on my viking #1, is there a switch? tried turning hand wheel , is there a switch

you didn't put a model number in the question, yes, it's possible there is a switch or lever. if you have a manual it should have the information in it. but without being able to see the machine, I can't say for sure. try looking on youtube for a video. the next best thing I can suggest is calling a sewing machine shop in your area and ask them if they are familiar with the machine and ask them about the feed dog lever.

Trying to clean under the bobbin case on Viking Emerald 183 and I can't get it out.

When looking at your bobbin case from the top you will notice the hook. Think of the tip of the hook as a clock dial. At 12:00 the hook would be behind the needle. Turn the hand-wheel is at 10:00 this will allow more clearance when removing the bobbin case/basket.

Viking Husqvarna Model 6020 stitch selector will not turn.

look at the cam gear. This is the unit that the cam connects to. It could have a crack or be split completely. If there is a crack the cam stack will have to be replaced. The parts are hard to get and a good technician is needed.

Viking sewing machine 940 needs spare parts circuit board and ballance hand wheel

Certified Viking parts are only available from an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer. However, there are some third party parts companies online. You should be able to find these using Google Search. However, I strongly recommend you have the machine serviced through an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at http://www.husqvarnaviking.com
Good luck.

Hand wheel is hard to turn

If you take out the bobbin case and slide off the needle pate, you can inspect the bottom area for a thread jam. The black post that the bobbin case slides onto is called the thread hook. It should have a loose feel to it when you gently move it around, it should not have a "solid feel".

Another area that sometimes wraps the thread is the take up lever area.
(the lever that moves really fast up and down as the machine is sewing)
If the lever has been pushed to the left, it's possible the thread has wrapped up in that area.

If those two areas are o.k. you'll need to take it in for service.

Husquarvana Viking model 630 needle doesn't move when powered up

if the balance wheel is moving round okay manualy it could be but it could be thread lock or just a tiny bit of fabric stuck in the workings

Needle jamming, threads all screwed up underneath, tension change

Try another authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer. Sounds like the hook/needle timing is off or the hook height. Or you could ask them to ship it back to Viking for them to do the repair. Check the Husqvarna Viking website for another dealer closest to you. You also might want to report the company to Viking. They do have to adhere to certain standards in order to keep their dealership.
