Check the TV first by tuning it to an external RF source; ie; on-air program by connecting it to external Ariel and make sure that the TV is OK. If the TV works fine with on-air program, the Dish Network receiver is either fault, of it do not get input signal.

Try resetting the TV by holding down the "up" button on the remote (with the TV powered on) and then, while you hold down the up button on the remote, hit the power button on the TV. This should do a "factory reset" which will wipe all settings in the TV. There is no reason why the TV should not "remember the last input it was on when it was ;last turned off. Also be sure that the TV is not plugged into a switched AC outlet, like the outlet on the back of the cable bix. The TV should be plugged into an output that receives power at all times.

Check if the remote is in TV position, that is, because most of the remote controllers have the feature that you can program them for use with another devices. Make shure that one button that says "TV" in pressed and released once before you try to change any function on the TV.

SOURCE: 50" Vizio Plasma reads "No Signal" on all inputs?

Well, your TV is still under warranty. That's the good part.
The only thing I can recommend without voiding the warranty is leaving the TV unplugged for 30min. That way, the TV can reset itself and hopefully correct the problem.

If that doesn't solve the problem, it's time to use the VIZIO warranty.
Here's contact info if you need it.

SOURCE: "No signal" sign on TV screen using HDMI selector

it sounds like a refresh issue, double check you selector and make sure it fits the refresh of the tv. i had this once with a sharp where the tv was 120hz and the selector was 60 and it created a no signal and when it did come in it was jumpy. if you have a 120 tv then selector should be the same.

Where is reset button on sanyo 50 inch tv model DP50740 The TV will not stay on

There is no reset button on televisions. I see that is a plasma set, if you are just losing the picture that is one thing, if the whole set is shutting down, that is another. Please advise

Wait a day or so. They could be working or configuring the Satellite. If you had no trouble whatsoever in the past weeks, why would it suddenly let you down? Obviously they may be doing something that made the Satellite transmission inoperative for a few days. if the problem persists, then there are the proper people to seek. You can also seek advice from other Satellite dish users. if they have same problem, then it's obviously technicians are working on the problem.

Our HDMI 1, 2, & 3 jacks do not work any longer. It's not the HDMI cord (replaced already) it's not the dish network box (replaced it today) - it's the TV. Can we fix it ourselves? Sanyo...

There is no "fix" for defective jacks for the average consumer like that.
I suggest using the COMPONENT inputs instead. Sorry, that means another new set of wires.
Component input will still be HD, it's just a lot more wires than the simple "one wire" HDMI.
At least you don't have to trash (or get repairs) to your TV and it will hold you over until you do.
Take care!

Try unplugging the receiver from your electrical outlet for 10 seconds and plug back in. This will cause the receiver to reboot and re-acquire the satellite signal. After this, you should get your picture back. I hope this helps.

I have dish network and am trying to watch tv on my gateway plasma. how do i connect my satelite cable to plasma to get picture?

We would like to guide you through the connection process, but depending on what kind of receiver and TV you have this process may vary.Visit our "How to connect receiver" page here:http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/setup-receiver.

Once we have everything connected correctly, check what channel or input yourTV is currently on by powering the TV off then back on and noting the channelor input that appears on screen when the TV is powered on.

Steps for getting picture on TV1:
If you are using a Coax Cable to connect the receiver to TV1, check thereceiver's back panel for the output name. If your receiver has a "TVCH 3/4 out" (non-ViP Receiver): Tune TV to channel 3 or channel4, if it has "Home Distribution" output (ViP Receiver):Tune TV to channel 62 or 75. If using non-Coax (RCA,Component, or HDMI) to connect receiver to TV1, cycle through the inputs untilpicture appears (this information may appear on the remote sticker), mostTVs have a "TV/Video", "Input", or "Source" button.

Steps for getting picture on TV2:
Access "Modulator Setup" from TV1 by pressing "menu"then 6-1-5. Tune TV2 to the channel that appears under "TV2 Out" onscreen. If still no picture, change the "TV2 Out" mode fromAir to Cable, or if it's already on Cable, change it to Air. Then change thechannel of TV2 to what is now displayed under "TV2 Out".
If the issue is only on ONE receiver, unplug the DISH receiver for10 seconds and plug back in. It may take up to 5 minutes for the reset processto be completed. If you still are not getting a picture, connect anothercomponent (VCR, DVD Player, etc.) to the same TV, using same cable, same input, and same channel to see if it works. If it works give us a call at1-800-333-DISH (3474) for additional troubleshooting, if you don't get apicture with the other component, replace the cable.

Hope this steps help, and thank you for being a valued DISH Network customer!
