Check the cable connected router to hub, if it is OK, you need to reset the router and do configuration again.

Had same problem - said signal weak although strong on other devices, and hung on authenticating.
Cordless phone on base unit was beside wireless router. Moved unit and turned off phone. Problem disappeared, and signal showed strong.
