Cellular telephone auto muting problem. Please help me. I have pioneer deh-1600ub. All systems working. But auto muting not working. When My mobile phone is ringing the teyp is not muting. How i can work this function. Please help me.

when there is no CD in unit hold the source button to turn unit to actual on position (when you insert a CD is it self guided once you push it to a certain point or does it just self guide instantly) if you sort of push it in a bit and unit turns on its because the pioneer function says to itself i need to be on so it will play for you but once you eject the CD the unit says time to turn off the solution i recommended should solve this if not let me know and ill figure out another step

it probably has a bad flexible cable.

You have to isolate yellow-black cabel. This cabel was in contact with earth and it was the reason, why you have Mute on the display.
