Have you tried pullimg yhe memory chip ad batteries and reloading them. And if camera is that new it should still be under warranty take it back to where you purchased it, dont tell them you dropped it and they should help you or replace the camera.
may be your cable is broken. and you must buy new one of that cable. or you can plug out your memory card (XD picture card) and you have to buy memory card reader for supporting your XD. You can buy in computer shop, or like that...
From camerahacker.com:
1. Hold camera firmly in left hand. 2. Smartly rap front of camera with knuckles of right hand on the "Cyber-shot" logo.
Worked for me :)

Oh my gosh this really works! Our screen went white, we hadn't dropped it or anything. The camera still worked fine but we just couldn't see what we were taking a picture of. We tried this solution and now we can see the picture through the screen perfectly. THANKS for posting this!
I have Fuji FinePix 2650 Digital camera with same problem. I can almost guarantee this is not a firmware problem. I went mountain biking a few months ago and take pictures. I take out camera and turn on. I get lines then white screen. I banged on camera and fixed it. Later a few weeks ago I turn it on and white screen. i beat this thing and get bad menu selection screen for a moment then white again. It takes pictures well and talk to computer no problem but no LCD picture. I thinking it is loose connection for LCD. Send it for repair or if you seek adventure try to fix it yourself!
