Thank you for your inquiry, friend!

It could be a possible issue with the control panel or burner switches within the Frigidaire range. I would recommend performing a reset on your appliance which you can do by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. It could also be an issue with your range not receiving sufficient power. You may want to seek assistance from a professional for proper repairs. -Matt

SOURCE: GE Spectra range

All of the items you mention that do work, are 120 volt items.
All the items that do NOT work are 220 volt items.
Sounds like you have a voltage problem, you will need to use a meter to check if you have 220 volts a/c to the outlet the stove plugs into. Take care when doing the following, you will be around live voltage and could get hurt. If you are uncomfortable working with a live circuit best to call someone in to do it for you. Check for 220v at the outlet for the stove (where the stove plugs into), if you have it there, go to where the cord attaches to the stove and check at that point. You should have either a 3 or 4 wire cord on the stove, On the rear of the stove there is a terminal block that the cord is fastened to. Between RED and BLACK you should have 220v, between RED and WHITE and BLACK and WHITE you should see 120v. Another thing to check is that the nuts holding the wires from the cord to the terminal block on the stove are turned down tight. A loose connection there will give you the same problem you have as well.

SOURCE: Burners, oven will not heat, all lights work

Sounds like you are only getting 120 volts. All heating elements require 240 volts to operate. Start by taking the covers off the back of the range and looking for loose or burnt off wires. Look first at were the range cord connects onto the range. If all OK with range wires, check wires inside range receptacle (where the range cord plugs in) and also the connections on the household circuit breaker or fuses. If you use a meter to test for 240, you may see it, but if a connection is poor, it may not be good enough to supply the required power.

SOURCE: frigidaire electric range oven and top burners wont come on

It sounds like you only have one side of the 220v current coming into the range. I suggest checking the outlet feeding the range for proper power. The problem could actually be in your circuit breaker, only sending power via one of the conductors.

Just delivered from store. Two burners on left side and oven are dead.

Alex,
If this is a brand new oven then you need to call the store back & have them come check it. It will be under warranty & they can check to see if it is a stove problem or a power problem from your house power. If it is a used appliance, I would still call the store you purchased it from to see what they can do for you.

Bottom burner won't heat up

shut the breaker off to the unit. if the bottom burner is exposed remove the screws at the back of the burner and ease the burner out. there will be a wire connected to each side of the burner. remove both of the wires and test the connections of the buner for resistance with an ohm meter if open you need a new burner if not it could be a control. this is assuming your range is electric not gas

We have a Magic Chef gas oven (model # CPL1100BDW) without electronic ignition. The oven isn't working. The oven pilot is out, can't get it to light, and the oven will not light - (obviously)....

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
If the pilot is clean and still won't light then the problem is with the safety valve that won't open and so needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Hello,

FOR THE OVEN NOT HEATING

The problem beleive it or not is that the bake igniter is weak ,and it is not drawing the proper amprage to open the gas valve. If you have a amp meter access the wires to the bake igniter(usually behind the storage drawer) and check for 3.3-3.6 amps when oven is set to bake by clamping the meter around ONE wire wire of igniter make sure only one wire, either one and not both.
if amp draw less than 3.3-3.6 amps replace bake igniter. I know it seems improbable that if the igniter comes on that it could be the problem.Professional appliance technicians who would charge a average of $250.00 to repair your oven, have found when the igniter comes on yet the oven won't heat that a weak igniter is the cause 100% of the time

FOR THE SURFACE BURNER NOT LIGHTING The holes on the burner espically those around where the electrode are dirty/clogged. By using a paper clip/safety pin to push in and clear the holes then clean the burner up with some steel wool the burner should light. GENE

Oven won't heat, all burners work

I suggest that you remove the upper and lower heating elements to the oven, turn the oven switch to on, then use a good digital voltmeter, and check the plug that the lower heating element was in. If you have good (200 volts or more) then purchase and install new heating elements. Turn the oven switch to Broil setting and check the same way for the top heating element.
