Hi, the following procedure may fix your problem. Flip open the top to your fax machine. Look for a small shutter that holds the laser. Carefully force this open with your hands and force the laser out into the center of the tracking cradle.
Error e000 - error with fixing unit. Try to disassemble printer, remove fixing unit. Check heater element's and thermal sensor's impedance. Check connectors.
E000 means there is some thing wrong with your fixing unit.machine is not detecting required temprature from fixing unit. remove fixing unit and check all connector.if all is ok then replace heater or replace fixing unit.
Your printer show Error code E000 suggests the problem history has recognized all of these of the following error codes four moments: Error code E001;Code E002;Error E003. Printer Canon E000 error will be removed in the service mode.
Please try reset factory your canon printer..but if it still show error code E000 again ,you can try with a genuine fuser unit (reseting fuser unit). Good luck
Solution 3: Try this, atempt will clear canon E000 code in Service mode:
1.Press ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS, #
2.Go to #7 Printer and Press OK
3.Go to #4 Printer Reset and Press OK

Your Fuser just went , Call you Canon independent or Authrized dealer, he will need to go into the simulation to reset this error. Usually E000 is either a fuser or fuser web error. I'll need to look this up in the service manual. most likely you'll need a quailify technician to reset this error code.
E000 is a fixing unit problem. It could just be needing to be reset or replacement of the fixing unit or if that is not the fix it may coast more then it is worth.
