My Kodak C875 digital camera says internal memory full how can I fix it

Do you have the optional sd memory card instaleld in the camera?

Have you formated the sd memory card or MMC card as suggested on page 37 of the user manual.
on page 36 on image storage settings = If set on Auto it uses the external card if there is one installed rather than the internal memory.

You need to have a memory card installed in the camera !
see page 5 of the user manual.

What memory card can i put in my easyshare c875 kodak

The C875 works with MMC and SD cards. MMC cards are going obsolete, so you'll probably not be able to find many of them. When getting an SD card, make sure it's not an SDHC card. SD cards top out at 2GB while SDHC cards start at 4GB and go up from there. SDHC cards will not work in the C875.

I bought a 8GB SDHC memory card for my camera, when i insert it into my camera it tells me that the card needs formatting when i select format it doesn't do anything it just reasks me. How do i get it to...

The C875 works with SD cards, not SDHC cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and won't work. You need to go with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Memory card compatibility. camera won't read or format PNY Optima SDHC 4GB.

Hi,

I am sorry to say that the C875 is not compatible with SDHC cards. Only SD or MMC cards.
You can get SD cards up to 2GB.

This is not unusual in cameras of a few years old.

Hope this helps.

My C875 Kodak Camera will not read the memory card, but it will read the internal memory

make sure that the internal memory is sets on Auto, for you to check that first...

-Press menu button and look for setup then press Ok button
-Under setup look for IMAGE STORAGE it should be on auto if its Internal memory you need to select the image storage press ok button the select Auto then press Ok button again.

-make sure the Memory card that you are using is just 1GB or 2GB SD card only do not go over than that because it will not be compatible on the camera C875

Internal memory is full, how do I transfer these pictures to a SD

Plug your camera into your computer. You will have two removable drives. One for the internal memory of your camera as well as the memory card. If you press My computer in Windows you will see two removeable drive devices.

Transfering pictures on from a different camera.

Try re-installing the driver software. Ensure that all the electrical contacts on the camera, cables and dock are clean and free from obstruction. If all else fails, USB card readers are cheap, and handy for other things. This is what I use.
