My kindle fire battery has quit charging. Is there anything I can do about it?

Defective battery, if the battery will not take a charge the AC adapter will not run the tablet (not enough power) by its lonesome.

Armend, Could be a bad charging port. Press and hold on button for 15-20 seconds a couple times to see if it will reset and power up before trying anything else. Check the attached links, videos,instruction and guides on kindle charging problems. Good luck

Sounds like your power cord is dead and that it's not charging. If it's new bring it back to the store you bought it from and get a new one.
