Could the cancer my son has been caused by large amts of formaldehyde over 40yrs ago?

I am forwarding an article straight from the National Cancer Institute. Long story short, MAYBE. Several NCI surveys of professionals who are potentially exposed to formaldehyde in their work, such as anatomists and embalmers, have suggested that these individuals are at an increased risk of leukemia and brain cancer compared with the general population. But there is a tremendous amount of information. Good Luck.

Does drinking liquefied asparagus help in curing cancer?

Considerable laboratory evidence from chemical, cell culture, and animal studies indicates that antioxidants may slow or possibly prevent the development of cancer. However, information from recent clinical trials is less clear. In recent years, large-scale, randomized clinical trials reached inconsistent conclusions

Diseases caused by bacteria

There are four major types of diseases. They are infectious diseases, deficiency diseases, hereditary diseases, and psychological diseases.

Infectious diseases: Infectious diseases are the ones that can spread to another person easily. It can be through physical touch, through the air or through various other means. The best example of infectious disease is the common cold.

Deficiency Diseases: Deficiency diseases are the ones that are caused by the deficiency of nutrients. Deficiency of different nutrients causes various diseases. Some of the common diseases caused by vitamin deficiency are Pellagra which is caused by the deficiency of vitamin B3 and Paresthesia is a disease that is caused by the deficiency of Vitamin B5. Something you would never guess is vegan they doesn't consume any animal-derived foods.

Hereditary disease: Hereditary diseases are the ones that are caused by the genes. Some of the examples of hereditary diseases are heart disease, diabetes, arthritis and cancer

Psychological disease: The disease that affects the mental health of a person is called psychological diseases. Some examples of psychological diseases are clinical depression, anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, and multiple personality disorder.

Is Pestell pine/cedar shavings good for bunnies and guinea pigs ?

Pine shavings can cause cancer and other problems in rabbits. Stay away! The best litter that is safe and odor absorbing is a pellet-type, such as yesterday's news (found in the cat department) or wood pellets (sold in hardware stores or Agway).

We moved in to a new house in Nov. 07 Have a Bosch 500 series dryer (new) The dryer stops after a few minuets and a signal sounds, error shows on display, and states clean filter. The filter is not...

If the dryer worked fine at the old house, I would suspect a wiring or grounding issue could be causing your symptoms.
Electronic controls often exhibit erratic behavior when not grounded properly.

Tip: To save you money, whenever an appliance is moved from 1 location to another, and an issue like this arises, do a thourough electrical and vent investigation before contacting a service provider.
A new dryer will sense a venting inadequacy and give an error code. Investigate your venting system thoroughly. Below are some helpful tips on investigating a vent inadequacy. Always consult your user’s manual before contacting a service provider.

Below are some tips that will aid you in investigating your vent issue.
  1. Do not rely on visual evidence; clean the vent from one end to the other. If possible, remove the entire vent tube and take outside to run water through it. Brushes of different lengths are available from parts suppliers if you cannot remove your venting.
  2. Do not rely on apparent airflow velocities. All dryers use different airflow velocities and minor obstructions are not readily observed optimally without utilizing an anemometer, (air pressure/speed gauge).
  3. Disconnect the dryer from the vent and run a load to eliminate, or suspect, the vent as the cause. If the dryer performs normally then the vent is the cause.
  4. Water can condense in a flexible vent tube and cause sagging. This needs to be eliminated by replacing the vent with rigid ducting if possible, or by bracing the tube. There are numerous venting accessories and options available to optimize the venting of a dryer.
  5. Dryer manufacturers use varying combinations of blower speeds, tumble revolutions, heat temperatures, and sensors to achieve a favorable result.
  6. Always remember that the shortest and straightest vent is the best vent.
  7. The lint filter could be coated with an invisible coating from using fabric sheets in the dryer. Hold the filter horizontally under running water and if the water beads up and does not filter through, replace the filter, and stop using fabric sheets. This same invisible film can also build up on sensor bars and cause drying issues.
  8. Animals, snow, shrubs, etc. have been noted to occasionally restrict the air from exhausting to the outside, by blocking the exterior vent cap. Be sure and check this frequently, especially on cold days, as animals love to be near a heat source.

Thank you,

Dryer overheat and stoppping too soon

Yes, dryer sheets can cause a build up on the sensors and the lint filter. Clean the metal contact strips off (just inside the door) with alcohol or windex and use a toothbrush and a little soap to scrub the lint filter. With the build up you don't get proper airflow and it won't dry right. Also, stop using dryer sheets or be sure and clean the cotacts and filter about once a month.
