This normally happens to older cars. Check if the mechanical in the door has gone loose or lost alignment. Normally they should be following the rubber surrounding the door's frame. Also check on the gears if it is aligning with each other. While at it check if the rubber on the door frame needs replacing.

The electric windows and door locks only work on drivers side of a 2000 buick le sabre limited. why?

The passenger side locks an windows don't work with thier own switches ? Check for B+ voltage at the front passenger door module . Do you know how to do that ? You need to take the front right door panel off . Check for a broken wire inside the rubber boot from the body to the door .
Power Windows
The vehicle is equipped with power windows controlled by the door modules. The DDM receives a window switch request, over the SBI serial data, from either the passenger door module wired to the window switch pressed or from the driver door switch assembly. The DDM checks the Class 2 serial data to see if the status information is correct (i.e. ignition switch position) to permit window operation.
If the status information to permit window operation is correct, the DDM sends the command to the door module controlling the window to move the window as requested.

What torque specs do u tighten the front shock absorbers nuts to

adjust the nuts until there is tension placed on the rubbers. You will see the rubber start to slightly bulge out under the washers and that will be the correct tension

The driver's window on my 93 honda civic 1.5 Lsi is not closing properly. The motor works fine but the window slants and does not go into the rubber. The rubber is slightly buckled at the front panel is...

What you need to do first is remove your inner door panel. After you have the panel removed operate the window and make sure that none of the window tracks are loose, broken, or out of adjustment. This is your most likely cause of your problem. A slight buckle in the panel may help the problem but, I don't think it is your main problem. Check the tracks and adjustments.

FRONT DOOR WINDOW

Yes. I have fixed my driver side window several times. The window went all the way down and came off the track, usually because the window automatically went all the way down. The first step was to take the interior side of the door off: (1) I unscrewed the screws around the door and pull the plastic screws out. (2) I disconnected the thin metal rod that connects the door handle to the door frame to be able to pull the interior part of the door away from the metal frame of the door. (3) I unscrewed the speaker to see where the window meets the rubber track. (4) I kept the electrical wires connected so that I could use the electric window button to lower and raise the window. (5) I lowered the window down below the rubber track and loosened the screw holding the rubber track to the door. (6) I manually adjusted the rubber track around the window glass and pressed the electric window button up slowly, making sure the glass stayed on the track. (7) I put everything back in place, screwed in the screws, etc. Be careful not to let the window go all the way down, because it seems to fall off the track at that point. Hope this helps!

Door window

this is a common problem with the accord what happens is the window starts sticking in the window rubber one one side more than the other and bends the arms on the window mechecanism you can bend these back and take the window rubbers out of its frame clean them put them back spray them well with wd spray but the problem is are you feeling lucky as the perminant souloution to the proble is to replace the window rubber and window regulator is the name of arms on the window mechecanism if you intend to replace its not as bad a job as you think all wires on your door pad are plugs so you cannot go wrong as far as the regulator it amatter of about half a dozen nuts yates210456
