Hi I've got the old style carrycot for the mountain buggy, the one to fit with a metal bar instead of the new clip ons. I've lost the fitting instructions and wonder if anyone knows jow to fit this carrycot to the urban frame.
Thanx

Hi,
THe Mountain Buggy is very simple to fold. Level with the footrest, there is a black plastic button (either side), these simply push toward the back of the pram and hey presto! The pram will collapse. To make this as small as possible, keep the front two heels on swivel so that they tuck neatly underneath and the handle bar adjusted to the lowest position.
See this link to help a little more.

I hope this helps.
SOURCE: have you managed to fit the carrycot already
Hi,
If this is the same as the UK model then you should make sure that you remove the hood of the pram (not the carrycot hood) as this makes life so much easier. You could contact www.mountainbuggy.com so that they can send you a manual.
When you attach the carrycot, there should be a clip either side of this to attach to the chassis, these clips snap shut when aligned correctly with the chassis.
I hope this helps.

I believe this company http://www.outnabout.co.uk/ might be able to help, they sell parts to Mountain Buggy's and other strollers.
SOURCE: How do you fit a single carrycot to a double
My name is Todd and I will be helping you with this:
You will need the Carryseat, 4 of the snap locks and the Allen wrench that came with the unit to do this:
Look at the sides of the carrycot. There are two holes each side of the carrycot to allow snap locks to be fitted. Two snap locks are fitted to each side of the carrycot.
To Fit the snap lock
Place one snap lock over the first hole and using the Allen wrench rotate the screw in the snap lock clockwise until the screw is tight. The snap lock will still be able to rotate but is firmly attached. proceed to install the three other snap locks in the same manner.
Fitting the Carrycot to the Frame
Ensure snap lock are rotated so screw holes are on top. Open Snap Locks and place Carrycot onto buggy frame. Make sure the Carrycot is level. Push Snap locks firmly down flat, making sure you hear the lock "click" in to the mechanism. This indicates they are fully locked and you are ready to roll. Sorry for the pun at the end. If you require additional information, please do not hesitate to ask.
