If you do not have the software, you need to download the software from one of the following locations:

Official Canon Drivers and Software

Canon USA:DRIVER & DOWNLOADS

After downloading is finished, unplug the printer USB and run the software that you downloaded.
The software installer will tell you when to connect USB.

You have the same printer I do, I take it you didn't win the free camera either,right?, super simple just go to Canon, USA and put in your printer model, once you go to "downloads", and you 'll be back to printing, please let me know if I can be of more service, god bless and happy 4th..............

Thanks to all of you which try to help me to find out my problem, here I just want to tell that I've got my driver for ip 1800 from Canon Agent in Jakarta Office.
I just call them and they ask me to take in their office with Free Of Charge.
So now I can use my printer for daily operation.

How can i install the canon pixma ip 1800 without disk?
Go to this web page:

IP1800 Support

If the "Drivers & Downloads" tab is not selected, select it.

Enter your operating system in the drop-down menu.

Drivers and additional software links will be displayed. Click on the file name to download them.

Save the file to your computer. (Desktop is easiest if you are not familiar with placing the files in a folder.)

You can then install the driver/software from your computer.
