Samsung clp300 color laser printer not printing

There are many reasons that causes this printer to stop printing, like empty toner cart, full waste toner cart, paper jam. The only way to know for sure is to use the smart panel program to see what the printer is sensing as a problem and go from there. Hope this helps.

1st of all the printer is a color printer, even if you print black only it will still pull a small percentage of color to run the printing.

if 1 of your color toner is empty. you will have to replace it before it allow you to print.

change the trasfer belt .

This is a problem in the black developer in the imaging unit.
Kindly replace the black developer from authorised service center.

There are two major counters in this samsung CLP300 color laser printer.


I will give you the answers for both.


The standard one is the page printed counter.
You can not change that
The only way is to change the system board or get an used printer
(AS LOW AS $80 now!) and swap it.

You can pick up the whole 4 chips set to reset the data to the printer for under $10.

If you allowed your cartridge to run completely empty before refilling, the chip on the cartridge "knows" it is empty and will not allow it to be used. You can buy replacement chips for about $6.00 or so or buy third party cartridges for about $15. Your cartridge is not going to work until you get the chip replaced.

toner is not geniune i take it.

Try installing the smart panel software from the samsung website and see if it tells you a specific message.

Just found the troubleshooting manual for the printer and emptied out the waste tank. Seems to work fine now.
