Format should take only a few seconds. Confirm if the card has a "protect" switch, and it's turned so you can access the card.

Why did my Tasco 119274cw camera stop taking pictures at night?

I found this, but perhaps there is no activity at night. Check it at 1:00am, the LEDs should glow.

Camera stops taking images or won't take images
  • Please make sure that the SD card is not full. If the card is full (display indicates "FULL", the camera will stop taking images.
  • Check the batteries to make sure that they are new alkaline or lithium AA batteries. See note above about short battery life.
  • Make sure that the Power/Mode Switch is in the ON position and not set to OFF or AIM.
  • Make sure that you are using a good quality SD card in your camera. Tasco recommends SanDisk® SD Cards up to 32GB.
  • If the SD card has its write protect switch in the lock position, the camera will not take images.
  • If you have used an SD card in another device before inserting it in your Tasco Trail Camera, you might want to try formatting the card using the "Format" option in Setup Mode (pg. 8). Make sure you have backed up any important files first, as formatting will erase all previous files. In some cases, other devices may change the formatting of the SD card so that it will not work properly with the Tasco Trail Camera.

Mine did the same thing. Come to find out I had the wrong SD card. What walmart sold me was an SD Adapter card. So make sure you have the right type of SD card.

What kind of sd card goes into my jazz DV140 camera

SD cards should be available at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store. The brand doesn't matter, though I'd stick with the major brands. Make sure you get an SD card and not an SDHC card.

Trying to format the sd card in my new jazz hdv180 camcorder, but it always just gets stuck on "waiting..." and i can't get it to connect to my computer to format it. Need it for christmas...

Hello
Remove the SD card from your camera and insert it into a memory card reader that is able to read SD cards. From there you can format your SD card and make it usable again.
Good Luck, hope it helps, if so do rate the solution

When I turn on my Jazz DV 152/ T20 it displays "Read card..." and then nothing happens...I have a 4GB SDHC card by SanDisk...both camera and card are new....is this a faulty camera or am I doing something...

Usually the first thing you need to do with any SD card and Camera is to go into the settings of the your camera and Format the SD card. This has to be done for each memory card you use with that camera. i.e. a SD card formatted on a Panasonic HD camcorder won't work in your Jazz Camcorder. The formatting is different between the two camcorders. New SD cards don't come formatted.
SO try inserting the SD card into your Jazz Cam and rummage through the setting until you find your memory settings. From there find the Format Memory Card function, format the SD Card and you should be good to go.

I bought a 4GB Kodax memory card for my vivitar digital camera and it's not working. It said card error.

Check the little tab on the side of the SD card to make sure it is not locked. If that doesn't do it, take the batteries and SD card out, wait 30 seconds, then re-insert the batteries and SD card. If all else fails, read the manual on how to format (or reformat) an SD card. In either case an pictures stored on the card will be lost.

1G SD card "Cruical"

Make sure your SD card is really snugly inserted to the device. Also check your SD card compatibility list on the manual. Some SD cards have issues with electronic devices.

If the card is read on your computer, try reformatting it..
