SOURCE: Version of PCI Express
my motherboard has a PCI-E 1.0 it's an Asus Commando graphics is 9600GT which is PCI-E 2.0 and it runs fine till now no prob about that mate PCI-E 1.0 and 2.0 is backwards compatible so it should work fine make sure your graphics card is working @ x16 coz when I first plug my graphics it runs only @ x2 then I reset the bios and re-seat the graphics now fully functional x16 of PCI-E lanes.

Hi noxiney, you're MSI motherboard does have 1 opened AGP 8x4x slot. You can install & run the ATI Radeon X1650 PRO AGP. You can not run PCI-Express because there are no PCI-E slots on the board. There are PCI (White in color) on the board but the AGP slot is much faster than the PCI (White in color slots). The manual states the AGP card can only support 1.5volt video cards & not 3.3volt AGP cards. (Keep this in mind when looking for an AGP card).
Below is a link to a bunch of AGP 8x4x video cards. One or two include DDR2 memory. Carefull where you buy. Check the warranty. (Longer is better). The first one on the list would be compatible. Its not DDR2 but it does have 512MB of memory.

This card is 1.5v compatable.

& this is compatable.

Just remember, if the card can run both 8x & 4x it should support the 1.5volt needed to function on the MB.
Enjoy!

i'm using NVIDIA GEFORCE 8600 GT on my d101ggc board and its working fine
SOURCE: I have a msi ms-7399
Looking in the net I found someone running an E8500 on this board so I guess an E8400 will work fine.
SOURCE: cant detect MSI 661FM3-V LAN driver for win7
eventually through continued research, i found out that this is a common issue with several mobo ang win7... SIS driver for LAN was the answer. i just downloaded the driver then install manually. although there is still no driver support intended for win7 as of the moment, vista driver does the trick...
