Ice is forming on back wall
Sounds like you have a crack in the back wall of your fridge where the cooling coils are. Through these cracks water is dripping in behind the plastic instead of going into the drain plug and freezing. I think that is why it is swelling. I likely also have to replace the temp. sensor.
You need to defrost and take off the twin cooling cover in the back of the fridge patch the cracks. To get rid of the water behind the wall you will have to poke or drill a small hole and drain the water out unfortunately I don't know of another way. I am having the same problem with my samsung fridge.
Unplug sooooooon to prevent damage to coils!!! Remove plastic wall. Melt ice totally with hair dryer. See defrost heater at bottom of coils. If good it will read 50 to 200 ohms. If bad it will read infinite ohms. If my guessing is right, it will read bad and will need changing, along with the small clip-on thermostat that sits at or above the top of your coils. Parts will cost you $50 to $100 on the Net, and you'll spend 2 hours max.

SOURCE: ice forming on freezer
The drain is plugged. This fridge will defrost every 8 hrs or so. When it does , it will melt the frost that has built up on the evaporator. This melted frost will run down a drain under the evaporator to a drain in the bottom directly under the evaporator. When the drain gets plugged the water cannot drain out of the freezer compartment. After several defrost cycles the melted frost will overflow onto the freezer floor. When the fridge starts back up it will freez this water is the bottom of the fridge. sometimes this water that is now ice will melt on the next defrost cycle and actually run out into the floor. You will have to unplug the fridge or turn it off, then remove the cover to the evaporator. Get a hair dryer and melt the ice aruond the evaporator and drain. Once the ice is removed, check the drain and try to clear it. Once clear, replace everything but the shelves. Plug the fridge back in or turn it back on. Observe and listen for the evaporator fan. It should be running now. When working on the ice on the evaporator always be carefull. The defrost heater can be damaged if up push or pull on it too much.

sounds like u need a watervalve its overfilling your icemaker leaking down the back
Ice at the back of refrigerator section is usually due to a fan there that has become stuck, little fan like 2 1/2" or so, the fan circulates cold from the freezer into the refrigerator. If that cold air is not moved through than it will form ice there from moisture in the air of the refrigerator section. I have had that problem a couple times, could be from something pushed against back wall and got n the way of fan blades causing fan to stop.
