I feed them till they don't come around any more. Usually in the late fall. I live in southern Ontario Canada. Mine quit showing up when my red Cana Lilies died after first frost.

You can feed a parrot a mixture of pellet food and human food. The pellet food should represent up to 80% of their diets. If you drink from the bottle, the enzymes in your saliva will infest and break down the whole container. It's being digested in the container, like feeding baby food from the jar. The food in the jar becomes watery, because it's being digested.
