Hi there,
there no other way to repair that leaks other than you call an ac technician from service center and they will find it to you because there are special leak detector they will use to find where that leaks was and they work it using oxy acetylene welding to patched that leak, after patching they take a leak testing using high pressure equiptment to leaks test the system.so they can charge free from leaks, leaks should be stop because to protect our ozone layer.regards

SOURCE: air conditioning unit leaks

It sounds as if the unit overflow tube has disconnected. You may need to turn the electric off to unit, take the plastic housing off and see if the tube is still connected.

I have a Mitsubishi electric Mr Slimair conditioning. It runs a few minutes in cool mode, then it stops and an error of P8 code appears. When it runs, the fan is not strong.

P8-Abnormality in outdoor unit.
1) Wrong wiring of indoor/outdoor
connecting wire
2) Reversed phase
3) Protection device is working
4) Damaged outdoor coil thermistor

Solution:

1) Check the indoor/outdoor connecting wire.
2) Change the connection of electric wiring.
3) Check the protection device.
4) Measure the resistance of the outdoor coil thermistor.
If the resistance is normal, replace the
outdoor controller board.

Hope,it's helpful.

Fan works, air conditioning does not. Try resetting the power (in the proper sequence - outdoor unit followed by indoor unit). Air conditioning came on briefly (less than a minute) than stopped, leaving...

Without seeing the unit,

1 - the condenser fan (which is in the outdoor unit) could be blown. This would cause the unit to go off on high head pressure.

2 - it could be low on refrigerant, which makes it do nothing but blow room temperature air around. The unit would go off on low pressure

3 - the filter is dirty, blocking the cooling

4 - the compressor could be shorted, or a corroded wire somewhere that feeds the contactor

Mr. Slim Ductless Splits are the best on the market and should only be repaired by a trained technician.

Hope this helps.
