How do I program my Element Tv to set my channels.

When I go into the menu to set the channels, the channels won't set and the only channel that will set is 5. How do I set the other channels?

SOURCE: I lost the remote and cant find a universal that

you can go to menu options, than find programming options.
Look for an option called "autoprogram" and select it. It will search and set all available channels.

There is universal remotes for this tv that you can find by googling "elements electronics remotes":

SOURCE: Channels 3, 4, 5, and 7 are mute. The mute button has no effect.

there should be an audio section of your tv
Go through each of your setting s and be sure nothing was changed. goto setup and reset to factory settings. your TV will do something funky and powercycle.
THAT should fix your problem.
if not, is your cable service through your VCR? if so, remove the vcr altogether and connect your cable services directly. All should now be a go.

SOURCE: I have an Element 32

I talked to the manufacturer & they said that all I needed to do was to run the channel search, uninterupted, again. I did it & everything works. Thank you for your input.

I have a element tv and I can't get any channels programmed in but ch.3. It is hooked up to suddenlink box.i have tried autoscan and nothing

The suddenlink box transmits on channel 3 and is the only signal being transmitted. When the TV looks for all channels it will only see the one coming into it. This is normal because it is assumed you are controlling channels with the sudden link box, not the TV. If you are using an antennae then you need to go into the TV's setup menu and change the settings from cable to antennae.

Vizio tv dropped a channel, won't rescan

Try with the remote to direct enter the channel number (with the number buttons and or enter) If set makes it there go into menu for option to manually add it to the set memory.

Not likely a problem with your set.

I just set it up (it is used) and I can't get to the "Channel Manager" in the setup menu, as it is grayed out. I can't auto program because of my inability to access this menu function.

Hi,
Channel menu will be grayed out if tv is set on AV Input, select TV source by remote or press any channel number to set tv on tv source, this will enable channel manager/ menu to tune channels in tv.
Hope these info will help you.
Thanks

Element Electronics FLX2211B 22 in. LCD TV will reset every time

I have run into the same problem with a different model (32 inch from Circuit City). You may have found that there is almost no support from the co or web. I do not have an official solution but have some work arounds that have done the job for me.
WA#1 = after a channel scan tune to a HD/digital channel before you turn the set off. You need to do this each time for several times, because the set when turned on to a regular cable or analog station will default to skip all channels. After several times the set should remember your channels.
WA#2 = after a channel scan, go to the skip channel section of the menu, and if your remote has the colored buttons on the bottom scroll through the channels using the red and green (up and down on this menu) buttons. This apparently helps the set remember not to skip your scanned channels.
These are not glamorous solutions but appear to trick the TV into not re-setting the skip function for the channels.
Best of luck.

Samsung tv

Channel-programming is usually done in the TV's setup menu. Some universal remotes don't have the Menu or Setup key required to get into the TV's menu, so check the TV itself to see if there is a Menu or Setup button.

Once you get into the menu, look for an "Auto Program" or "Program Channels" setting.

No remote

heidib, if the front of the set has a menu button try going in and autoprogramming your channels, it seems odd that it won`t go above or below channel 2 which tells me none of the other channels are programmed in. Good luck

Cannot set Cable Default Channel

I believe you are getting mixed up between channels and programs. Normally program 00 is used for VHS as it has slightly different parameters for colour and brightness. If the TV has about 39 or more programs which can be programmed in from the on screen menu, try using program 20 for the video and 30 for the cable. For this to work you must do the on screen frequency scanning from channels 22 to 69 (UK) and select VCR, CATV, VHF, UHF, etc. I have used program 00 and 20 for two VHS recorders, working on channel 33 and 35 for example, but you must tune them to 33 and 35 on the `Tune' screwdriver hole by the aerial input sockets of the recorders. I expect if your cable unit plugs into your aerial socket of the TV that it has an adjustment for what channel it is on. The TV on screen menu may be different in some countries, so it would help if I knew where you are.
