EE 8 means there is a problem with the blower fan. It could be faulty or it could just be stuck. Did you leave the heater off for a long time? Like all summer? If so then it is probably just stuck. You can easily check if it is just stuck by following these steps: turn the heater off. grab a flashlight and a screwdriver and kneel down next to the left side of the heater as you are facing it. Look behind the heater near the bottom and you will see a flexible gray rubber L-shaped hose that is attached to the blower fan housing. This is the fresh air inlet for the heater. Next, loosen the hose clamp screw on the gray rubber hose elbow that attaches to the back of the heater. You may need a stubby screwdriver depending on which way the clamp is facing. Pull off the rubber elbow and stick your finger into the hole in the blower housing. You should feel the fins and hub of the round fan. This should turn freely. If it doesn't, then you can try to spin it with your finger a few times as you turn the heater back on. Do this carefully, you don't want to bend or warp the fan. If it begins to spin freely, you should hear it and there will be some slight suction INTO the housing. It may work normally now, although it will likely make more noise than it used to, due to the motor bearings being inactive for a while. Replace the rubber hose and clamp, and run the heater on high for a while by adjusting the SET temp up. It is important with the Laser 30 to run it frequently, even at a low setting in summer to keep this from happening. If you turn it off and let it sit for even a few days or weeks at a time, this will probably happen again.

My laptop operating system failed to start it has an error code: 0xc0000001

It is probably a hard drive failure and will either require the operating system to be repaired, rebuild or at worst case the hard drive to be replaced and then the operating system to be reinstalled.

It is impossible to go further without expert examination so I advise you to find a reputable repair man.

My lazer 73 is giving me a fan motor error code (EE 8) but I think my fuel pump might be out also. before I take apart the whole stove; is there a way to diagnose the fuel pump?

The fuel pump will make a loud thumping noise if it isn't getting any fuel to it. You can use a long screwdriver like stethoscope and listen to it to see if it is running. It won't start until you see the burner lights come on (about 3 minutes after you turn it on). There is a way also to hook 120vac to it with the fuel line off, but I will have to put that on here tomorrow after I look at one. As far as your fan goes, either take the exhaust hose off the back or remove the front and remove the black rubber boot from the blower motor (easiest). Then use your finger or a pencil and reach in and try to turn the fan. You may hear a slight crunching sound from carbon breaking loose. Keep turning until it turn free. You can use a shop vac to clean some out.

It saying ee8 blower on da laser 73

EE-8 is for a blower motor malfunction. It could be due to carbon build up on the exhaust fan blades. Remove the front cover of the heater. Now locate the blower. There is a black rubber boot that goes from the bottom of the heater to the blower. Remove that boot. Use your finger or a pencil or whatever to reach in the hole and turn the fan blades. You may here a crunching sound from the carbon breaking up. Turn it until it frees up. If it turned freely to start with, you probably need a new blower motor. If it was hard to turn and you free it up, you will probably be OK.Let me know what you find. I have a used blower for a Laser 72 that should work for your Laser 73.

Error EE 8 is showing what could be the problem???

EE 8 indicates a problem with the combustion blower. If the blower is running the problem is with the sensor. Make sure the wires for the sensor haven't come unplugged. If the sensor is bad, you will need a new blower. If it isn't running then the problem may be soot and carbon build up on the exhaust fan blade. You will have to remove the fresh air hose on the back of the heater or the rubber boot inside the heater to reach the fan blades. Use your finger or something to reach in and turn the fan blades. You may hear the sound of the carbon breaking loose. Turn it until it spins freely. Let me know if you need anything else.

Error reading ee8

EE 8 is for a blower motor problem. It could be the sensor that checks the blower speed or it could be the blower not running. If the blower is running, the sensor is bad and you will need a new blower. If it isn't running then you may be able to fix it. Sometimes on the Laser 73, soot and carbon will build up on the exhaust fan blades. Remove the fresh air hose, that is the rubber on the back, and look for the fan blades. If you can see them turn the heater on and see if they are turning. If not turn the heater off and try to turn them with your finger. If you hear a noise like something rubbing when you turn it or feel some resistance, keep turning it until the noise stops or it frees up. Now turn it on again and see if the fan runs. If you don't have anywhere local to get parts I can get them for you. You can contact me at [email protected] I may also have a used blower that will work.

Heater does not work

Check heater fuse.
If fuse good - could be a failure of the blower fan motor or blower control switch.
If fuse bad - bad blower fan motor could have blown the fuse.
DO: check fuse, then blower motor.
Pricing: new blower motor: Duralast PM270 $43.99
new heater control switch: Duralast SW229 $46.99 (without
A/C).
I'd expect your blower resistor to be good - when they fail, the blower only will work on HIGH setting.

Toyo Stove Laser 30 will not work

The EE-8 indication means there is insufficient air flow to the combustion pot to atomize and ignite the fuel. Check your air switch for a closed condition when the blower is operating.

I?ve had many blower fan motor failures in such a short time?

This is Typical around this YEAR, if the Blower Resistor Is ok they should give you a Few Years service. The VOLTAGE READINGS Are GOOD that your Friend Checked. Be Sure the GROUNDS are RENEWED on these Vehicles as POOR GROUNDS are Pretty Typical for failure also around that Year

EE 8 code on TR-73 toyostove!

If you can't get rid of the EE8 message and you think the motor is really turning it may be turning too slow. This will be caused by corrosion that has dripped down into the blower and gotten on the Rev sensor. The solution is to change the motor. If you are not handy with tools you may have to just change the whole blower. The motor is around $150, the whole blower is $350. The corrosion may have happened over the summer and fall.Heating and cooling causes condensation and the water drips down into the blower.
