Using YouView Box but picture breaking up and weak on BBC only

Does the TV work with other inputs?

Please bear with me as I do a little explaining since I've just got it sorted myself ! BTSport is available to anyone with BT Broadband, however you cannot get it on a normal TV. I have a YouView box and with BT Infinity I can BTSport1, BTSport2 & ESPN on my YouView box (Channels 507, 608, 509) played through my TV. My TV however will not pick up the channels. Just says they are "scrambled".They also appear to be available on Sky (channels 413, 414, 417) and Virgin (channels 547, 548, 529).
I strongly suspect that the only way to see these channels without a YouView box, Sky, or Virgin is on line through your computer.

Check and replace the tuner to this set. It is weak. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box and press "Enter".

Are you sure you tried everything suggested there Youview Public Knowledge Home ?

hi try going into the samsung menu go picture setting select aspect ratio set to auto hope it helps

you have a weak signal if your on cable
call them and if your on antenna you need to have it checked out indoor antennas are not good unless your near the staion

There is not a problem with the TV despite it's age this is can be due to your reception of the digital package for BBC. Have you checked through he full listings? sometimes the BBC channel will be at a different number setting because of the transmitter you are receiving. I assume you are using a digital box, you can enter a menu which will give you an indication of the strength & quality of the incoming signal. Do you pick up some of the other BBC channels such as BBC3 or CBBC? It's possible your aerial strength is a bit weak for the digital BBC package & you may need to have that looked at.
