OK FIRST OPEN IT UP AND IF ITS STILL WET PUT IN A BOWL OF DRY RICE FOR 24 HOURS. THE NEXT IT WIL B COMPLETLY DRY. PUT IT TOGETHER AND TRY IT IF IT DNT WORK CHECK THE FUSES. HERE IS A LINK

I can give you some answers but might not work. See if the slot where the Ds game suppose to go needs to be cleaned.Take a pice of cotton from the cutip and put it on your stlyer(DS stick).Clean inside of it.Stiil dose not work and have a warranty go get the ds repaired.DO NOT PUT LIQUID IN THE DS SLOT(WILL NEVER WORK AGAIN TILL REPAIRED).

DSl's hate water they die instantly!! Keep away from any liquids.
You will need a new motherboard at least to repair it, water damage is impossible to repair.

If I were you I would get a new DS because in this case it might cost more to repair it that to buy another or other problems could come up from previous water damage. But I am not you. Hope I helped

Can you fix a nintendo ds with water damage??
try to dry the whole ds out, maybe with a hair dryer so all the water clears from the ds. If this does still not work, there will be a problem with the battery and i recommend you to take it to a shop to get fixed. If you still dont have any luck im very sorry but youll have to buy another nintendo ds.

some batteries take a while to adjust, you might have water damage.

Since this was caused by water damage. Your really out of the Warranty Boundries. A Typical Nintendo Warranty covers: Faulty equipment (Only Nintendo Products), Device stops working or works poorly (But due to Appropriate use)
Unless you purchased a warranty from a store, and even those usually don't cover water damage. Your most likely out of luck, Sorry :(

Components may have come loose on the board, or damaged solder joints. Water damage can sometimes only appear after water has had time to seep, unless knock helped throw some residual water around inside, onto things it shouldn't touch.
