wow a working cassette?
why not upgrade, go to walfart get a deck with USB port
and use USB mem stick with 4000 song on it.
and dont look back.
if compelled , take this deck to any repair shop
and they will charge you more than the walfart solution
easy choice, huh?
Hi, If you mean the cassette tape is stuck in the player, you can try prying it upwards and outwards to see if the player will release the locking pins (car on, radio on). If it wont, the tape deck is shot, only way to get it out is to disassemble unit. (Not worth the trouble, put yourself a CD player in there about $100)....MIke
I have a 2003 Mazda MPV that has the stereo that you could add a cassette deck or MD to...I do not have either, but there is a button for it. I found a guy on the internet that made a chip that plugs into the back of the radio and has a 3.5mm jack on it that will play when you push the cassette/md button on the radio. It is great....sounds just like one that came from the factory.
There is no easy inexpensive way to hard wire an MP3 player into a factory stereo from 1994.
But there are 3 possible solutions and the first 2 should be less than $50.00
1. Use an FM transmitter that plugs into the headphone jack on the MP3 player, you tune the existing radio to the transmitter frequency. 2. If it is a cassette deck there are cassette adapters also, uses direct contact with the heads on the cassette deck to play the MP3 -- getting hard to find these. 3. Have a shop put an FM Modulator in the antenna line that has a plug that will fit the headphone jack of the MP3 player. Most expensive of the 3 solutions but will have the best sound of the 3.
most chrysler radios except the infinity series are interchangeable.
the infinity had a power amplifier .
best thing, remove the trim plate from around the radio with a flat blade.there is 4 bolts holding the radio in.remove the radio plugs on the back for antenna, speakers, and power ...take that to a wrecker, and see if the cd deck looks and works the same.they may even let you try it first...
