SOURCE: my beko fridge freezer keeps turning itself off

These appliance work with a thermostat that is when ever they reach a certain temperature they do cut off power automatically..If you find that ice is melting then you need to start worry.By the way the fat gas bottle is an air compressor which helps to circulate the gas around the system...It's like the heart of the fridge.

Hi. I don't not a thing about freezers so please bare with me. Our freezer stopped working. It seems like the fan is still running however there is no cold air. I tries turning off the freezer but the same...

so the freezer has no cold air at all correct then this would be a compressor or board problem with the machine and it is best to call a technician asap if you have no cold at all most of the time it would be the compressor but i also believe that model has a board controling the compressor so call the technician asap If you have any further questions please message me back Thanks again
Rick
sorry when it comes to compressor problems i only suggest trained individuals work on them causes alot less chance for mishap if it was a defrost problem where your freezer was cold but the frig was warm i could talk you through whats wrong and give you step by step instructions

I have a beko fridge freezer. I had an error code

I got the answer myself and thought I would share it.
The E4 code means that the auto defrost is not working. Call beko and tell them the code and they will tell you what part it is. I think the part number is 421445. It is a little black tube with two wires comming out. The part costs about £10. To fit the part you have to go into the feezer side of the fridge and carefully remove the white plastic at the back which is held with clips and one screw. To find where the part goes look for a long white fatish wire. The black fuse or thermostate is hidden in that. You will see where the wires go when you remove the old one. It is easy to do. Once you replace the part the error light will still be on but will go out after the fridge is back to being cold. Don't forget to replace the inside of the freezer when done! Hope this helps. John
