How to fix the main oven in our Baumatic range cooker?

Although elements look in one piece they can go 2 ways, short circuit (visible normally by a bulge or tear) or the resistance gets way too high, They should normally be around 30 ohms resistance reading. Use a multimeter and check the ohm's reading of the element

The electronic timer/clock must be in the manual mode for the oven to work. Consult your instruction booklet and set to manual. Your oven will then work.

Good evening i have a BT2431SS baumatic cooker,i have no heat in main oven yet i have the hob and the grill that work ok.

If it is a fan assisted electric oven, and the fan is wrking o/k, then it will probably be a faulty oven element.
This is located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
Please rate my solution.

Clock on cooker flashing

Hi,

Just to let you know that i have solved the problem with my cooker, (clock flashing after electric going off) i held down the cook period button and the end time button, then i was able to reset the clock by pressing the +button.

CDA Oven clock resetting itself I have a CDA oven Model DV940SS/1 and for a few weeks now the clock keeps resetting itself to 12:00 and flashing. We have reset the time on the clock and it will then flash back to 12:00. I have tried turning it off at the switchboard (I cannot get to the plug as it built in) but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? The oven does work without it albeit we can't use the timer and I do miss the clock as we use it regularly
