I think its a virus infected....... run scanning software.. to detect virus... second you need to do is log in as a administrator then go to the printer property and delete pending print jobs...then restart your unit..

teflon coating on heat roller in fuser is coming apart. replace the fuser. also check to make sure the paper tray is set to the correct size. this means pull the tray out, remove all paper, look inside to make sure the arrow is pointing directly at the correct media size you are using i.e. letter or legal or whatever you are using. Good Luck! please rate this carefully.

SOURCE: I have a 49.5001 service error on a HP 4350

X PRINTER ERROR A firmware error occurred 1. Press CANCEL JOB to clear the print job from the printer memory. 2. Turn the printer off, and then turn the printer on. 3. Try printing a job from a different software application. If the job prints, go back to the first application and try printing a different file. (If the message only appears with a certain software application or print job, contact the software vendor for assistance.) 4. If the message persists with different software applications and print jobs, disconnect all cables to the printer that connect it to the network or printer. 5. Turn the printer off. 6. Remove all memory DIMMs or third-party DIMMs from the printer. (Do not remove the firmware DIMM in the lowest DIMM slot.) 7. Remove all EIO devices from the printer. 8. Turn the printer on. 9. If the error no longer exists, install each DIMM and EIO device one at a time, making sure to turn the printer off and back on as you install each device. 10. Replace a DIMM or EIO device if you determine that it causes the error. 11. Remember to reconnect all cables that connect the printer to the network or computer. 12. If the error persists, replace the firmware DIMM. 13. Replace the formatter.

This error is usually caused by a bad formatter board

My hp laserjet 4015 is displaying an error 50.3 after printing smarged copies

Thank you for contacting FixYa with your printer inquiry.

The 50.3 is a fuser Temperature error. If your pages have toner and image but are smudging or smearing you know the fuser is not heating and needs to be replaced.

If your printer is still under warranty contact HP Customer Care for warranty replacement of fuser part numbers: RM1-1082 for 110 volt, RM1-1083 for 220 volt. (888) 999-4747.

If your printer is out of warranty, suggest you purchase a maintenance kit part # CB388A HP maintenance kit for LaserJet P4014 P4015 P4515, includes other needed high wear parts.

Excellent Illustrations:

Maintenance Kit Contents:

Contents

1. What is included in a LaserJet P4014 P4015 P4515 maintenance kit?

2. Fuser installation.

3. Transfer roller installation.

4. Cassette feed/pickup rollers.

5. Tray 1 (manual feed) pickup rollers/feed rollers.

6. Reset the maintenance count.

Hp 4350 printer memery error

Hi guyfr,

This means that the printer is unable to read the electronic information (e-label) on the print cartridge so that the printer can keep track of the page count for the print cartridge. To resolve the issue:

  1. Open the top cover and remove the print cartridge. Then, reinstall it.
  2. This is typically an e-label issue. The printer will continue to print after pressing the green SELECT button. The consumable management features will be lost (such as the gas gauge, cartridge page count, estimated pages remaining, etcetera) and the control panel may report that the printer has a non-HP print cartridge installed; however, the product will continue to print without problem until the toner runs out and the pages begin to fade, then the print cartridge may be replaced as usual.
  3. If this workaround is not acceptable or the error message persists after performing all of the recommended actions, contact an authorized HP Service or Support Provider: http://www.hp.com/go/support
Hope this helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Gostaria de reset na contagem de pagina

I've looked thru the manual and the only thing I can find to actually reset the page count is to perform a NVRAM reset. Most machines have a function to just reset the page count. I've attached how to preform. I must warn you you will have to setup everything again on the machine. I strongly suggest to print off the menu map and configuration pages along with the usage page. see attached pic below. 4c0f539.gif

Getting an display in the printer.

If you have the manual there is probably a section about this. It does sound like some parts may be wearing out and the printer is asking for new ones. Check out this link: http://www.printertechs.com/tech/maintcount.php A snip from the info there: If the display panel on your HP laserjet reads "perform printer maintenance", "perform user maintenance", or anything along those lines it means your printer needs a preventative maintenance kit, which includes a fuser and various rollers. Once you have installed the maintenance kit the message will only go away if you clear the maintenance count. For example the laserjet 4000 has a 200,000 page maintenance interval. Once you reach 200,000 pages the error message appears and you need to reset the maintenance count to zero to make the message go away.
