Your blower motor bearings are getting worn out and is using too many amps. As a result, it runs hot when on lower speeds. The solution is to replace the motor with a new one. A used motor will probably have the same problem as the one you have, so you need a brand new one.
This is a common issue on many cars and trucks that have some age on them.
Usually when the Vent or Inducer motor runs all the time
The pressure switch is usually bad
The furnace board is seeing that the pressure switch is open, so it brings the vent blower on to close the pressure switch but the switch being bad won’t close so the furnace board will keep the inducer motor running continuously.
Could be ! could also be the blower motor is bad or blower motor control module .
Does you buick have manual or automatic climate control ? There is a fuse box under the rear seat ,that is where fuse is for blower motor .HVAC BLWR fuse 40 amp. Chevy Trailblazer EXT Blower Motor Won Turn Off
I'd be looking for a bad connection or contact on the switch. Try bypassing the switch. If the lights stay on, the switch is faulty. You may be able to dismantle and clean the contacts, otherwise replace.
