I have new tablet and camera doesn't work

This is a tablet, not a camera. Although it has photographic capabilities, you may find more help posting this query in a forum dealing with tablets.

I would check ZTE's website to be sure, but if there is an empty memory socket inside the tablet for expanding memory, then it's possible. Adding memory to the SD card slot on the side of the tablet does not increase tablet memory to run programs, only for making more room to store pictures from the camera.

A new chip shouldn't be full. See if you have a 'format' function on your camera menu and try that

the memory can be faulty. Try to put in another camer or go to the walgreen and put in the computer system that they have and test it.

Just checking, but it's important that you format the card in the camera, and not in the computer. Here are some troubleshooting steps for a locked SD card. If the slide switch is indeed toward the contacts, might consider trying the toothpick fix (Fix 4), and if that doesn't work, the tape fix (Fix 4a).

Since this is a new memory card, the first thing that you can do is to format the memory card through the camera menu.
If that doesn't work, try another memory card. If that card doesn't show the error then your new memory card is the problem.

make sure that your camera is not stuck on internal memory. Most camera have internal memory that will hold so many pictures.

Check to make sure it isn't an SDHC card. Most older card readers aren't able to read the formatting of the newer cards. You may need to buy a new card reader with SDHC support.
