Buy yourself a factory wiring book

Not a Haynes or other manual
They will be too generic & not your
vehicle

Have to try Helm.Com for gm,ford, chry & others

The internet will have your manufactures site,
to get what you need

May have to buy a CD

Won't be cheap, but good info that will help you, won't be

You can go to a local auto shop & have them print just
the parts you need, of the under seat wiring

Where is the circuit breaker for drivers side power seat in a 2001 S10 blazer LT

The easiest way to repair this is to find your short to ground and not "butcher' 'the factory harness. It sounds to me like you know some about the system you are repairing so just check the 3 feet of wire that runs from the seat to up under the dash... I'm sure you will be able to locate it. It all runs under the carpet and trim up under the drivers side of the dash.

Brake lights turn signal not working on drivers side

check the wire loom from the boot to under the back seats, I have herd over time the back seat can cut the wiring loom as the metal in the back seat can cut the wires. saw this on a classic cars site a few years ago. you will need to fix the wires back and reseal the wires with sealing tape. also make sure the wiring is back out of the way for the seat.

Driver heater seat will not turn off when engine is off

Recommend to use flashlight and locate the wires to the underseat heater, There should be a pair coming up from the floorcarpet under the seat to the seat itself. Be really sure you have the correct wires, not the power seat wires. Suggest to cut those wires with scissors and separately tape each end of the wire coming up from the floorcarpet to prevent shorting out. Need to find someone who can work on the problem before hooking up the wires again. Without taking this step, you should have a dead battery quickly.

1995 Subaru Legacy TS-R,electric drivers seat stopped working in half down position, all fuses are intact ? I have unbolted & lifted the seat, their are 3 connectors under it,the wires from the blue...

the wires can get cut by the seat movement, these could be the wiring for heated seat that was an extra on some models. the motors can become stuck or even strip a cog. if its stopped working but fuse is fine i would think the bushes in the motor have gone you maybe able to change thes i think this part is still available if not it could be a new motor need, but befor this check the switch for the seat these are a common fault over time, you will need a meter to test the switch check its working and has power. you may need some help to do the next part. to check there is power to the motor while its out use a meter and check the volts at the motor plug and have some one press the switch in both directions. if there is power then the motor is at fault.

Hi

Check the wiring under the seat, they often snag and it will cut into the wire, so what happens is to make it go forward it will send the power down the motor one way but when you are pushing back that wire may be slightly cut or touching, it definitely sounds like a wiring fault.

Door ajar light come on. i need to know where the sensor is so i can replace them all

They are in each door. But there is a tech service bulletin on broken wires under driver seat. There is a multi splice union under rug, under drivers seat. You will see green corroded wires that need to be cut off till not corroded & reattached. I have run into that more than bad switches.

Circut breaker for the Power locks ,remote and power drivers seat

Try unplugging the power to the seat, and see if the locks will work and the breaker cools off. If not, you may have a short in the door jam where all your wires go through.
