How do I set date/time

This is may be your c-mos battery life ends. you can change the c-mos battery (the battery that you see in the mother board same like watches battery) and check. the time and date automatically changed. it's coast is very cheap.. Try it and enjoy...

How about the battery in the controller box? The 9v battery keeps the settings in its memory - not the PDA.

For a Windows system:

Go to START.
SETTINGS.
CONTROL PANEL.
DATE AND TIME.
Select the TIME ZONE tab.
Ensure that GMT -0500 Eatern Time (US and Canada) is selected.

Also ensure that AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST FOR DAYLIGHT SAVINGS is selected.
In addition, under the INTERNET TIME tab, ensure that AUTOMATICALLY SYNCHRONIZE WITH INTERNET TIME option is selected.

Click on APPLY then OK.

Probably and error, back it up and give it a hard reset. Also, after any reset the first screen it always shows it to set date and time.

System locked up. Handheld is frozen at WAITING screen. Microprocessor is locked.

Here is what you do:

1. Turn off power to the system.

2. Disconnect battery at the Power Center and turn on power.

3. Reconnect the battery and reset time and date.

There is some error in ur setting,so again check ur setting properly.

When you turn your Palm on, on the main page there should be a list of icons. Make sure in the upper right-hand corner All displays with an arrow pointing down.

Then, click on the World Clock icon to change the date/time for your Palm.

Are you both sure that under the World Clock icon that the current date/time is set to the right year?
Sometimes the dates get set back incorrectly if the Palm dies.

Edit the time and date.
