Please help. I have an 02 Buick Century custom. All turn signals and hazard lights work with the exception of the right rear. I have replaced all bulbs. Replaced flasher and have checked all fuses. I tested the light socket with a test light while ignition was on and turn signal on. Test light would blink on and off just as it should. However, when i install the bulb it doesnt blink and checking with test light while bulb is in shows now power. Tail light will work if lights are on. When i remove the bulb and check with test light, the test light blinks on and off. I am lost trouble shooting this. I know it shorting out or grounding out when bulb is insatlled. I have even replaced the bulb socket only to see same results. Any help or suggestions would be very welcome. Thank you.
Test the ground side of the circuit , bad ground ! Voltage drop testing is the way to a fix . Mastering Voltage Drop Testing with Pete Meier and Jerry Truglia If it were gounding out the light would light . If it were shorting out ,it would blow a fuse ! Find a wiring diagram an check the compleat circuit , power and the GROUND side. You can find a wiring diagram here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info . year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on lighting , then under subsystem click on exterior lighting . Click on the first blue link > Where are you grounding your test light . Your giving the circuit a ground , that has to be what is missing in the circuit on the vehicle . The current needs a compleat path back to the battery . Looking at the wiring diagram G402 is ground point for the turn signals . G402

1st try a different bulb, make sure its a working bulb, If the test light is blinking & u have a good ground it has to be the connection from the bulb to socket.

most likely its your muti-funtion switch in the steering column.but first check your turn signal flasher & your emergency flasher
Testimonial: "It's looks like multi-function switch because all bulbs and fuse are look okay. I don't know how to replace the switch thus i have to go the shop. "
