There is a problem with the volume controller chip, or a problem in the paoer supply feeding the main amp. Good Luck

SOURCE: I can't get my tivo to change channels. It stays on the same channel

I believe that you are already on the right path, your tivo will still be assuming that you are running off the cable box plus you watch dancing with the stars for five minutes one time just to see Warren Sapp attempt to dance and now all of a sudden it wants to record every single piece of televison with dance in the title or discription, but I'm not bitter.

Just re-accomplish the set up and let it know that you are no longer running a cable box. Also tell it that ditching you friday night to hang with it's old high school buddies was so not cool.

SOURCE: hook up vizio tv to fios box

Run HDMI from FIOS to TV directly, then run Digital coaxial or optical to the cbl/sat audio input of your receiver. That's it. If you have any more questions, just post a comment and I can help more.

The reset procedure will be in the owner's manual. If you no longer have the manual, look to the Pioneer website. They will have it if it's not too old. Should you have further questions, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me directly through my website. Thank you.

I was given a Jamo sub 1810, but have no instruction manual. I'm trying to hook up to my Pioneer HTP-2500 home theater system. What would be the correct way? Also if you could help me with the setup,...

The Jamo is self-amplified and accepts Line Level input ONLY.

The HTP-2500 receiver drives a subwoofer directly with SPEAKER LEVEL output only and does not have a volume-controlled output for driving externally-amplified devices.

Don't know how many componenets you are trying yo run but, anything requiring video, Satellite receiver, dvd player, etc., should be hooked directly to tv using HDMI, component. or composite cables. HDMI garries audio and sound but your reciever doesn't care about the video and may not transfer it very well. Unless you are trying to jump HDMI jacks because you only have one HDMI in on your set. YOU shouldn't need any HDMI cables runnng to your receiver. All you should need is a digital optical cable from TV ouyput to receiver input.

So what's the question? How many heaphone or speaker out jacks does your PC have? Any one will work provided you have trhe sound controls enabling it and the volume turned up.

Any available Line Levl input on the Pioneer will accept the output from the PC.

Hooking up new tv to surround sound

I recently purchased a vizio 37" LCD tv, I have tried everything in hooking up my Sony DVD surround system to the TV. However, I found no audio output on this TV. Could you tell me if there is a way to hook the tv directly up to the surround without an output?
Is there something else I need to buy?

PIoneer Htp 2700 stopped working

Unit still under warranty. Best bet is to contact Pioneer for the location of their closest authorized factory repair center and ship unit to them for warranty repair. Or check out ebay for a used unit or parts being sold.
